A Day to Remember

Wispy strings of color swayed shining bright

Heaps of confetti lay glistening in the warm light

Moments captured hung from the ceiling above

Tied by a bond of scarlet and abundant amount of love

A beaming mother displayed a happy charm

A proud father welcomed all with the little guy on his arm

The jumping bundle of joy looked around in awe

His eyes wide, his toothy smile minus any flaw

A child is a blessing, a vignette from life in its finest phase

A child is a boon, a ray of hope in this worldly haze
