Once More Please!

Eyes swept the lane beneath

Stealthily awaiting a succor divine

Looks exchanged said it all

“Thou art, and will be, forever mine”

Anticipation rendered the air thick

Heady and rich, a la deep red wine

The moment was fluid

Velveteen, gossamer with an ethereal shine

A grasp of the waist rewarded by a delighted gasp

A grip on the wrist undid the shackles of a sane past

They touched and withdrew

Drowning in the feeling, staring in awe

Then came together again…

A union sans any flaw

Her knees buckled under, as He held on tight

A Kiss was all it took for love to take flight…
