One Tight Slap


…is what I need!

Yes. I unashamedly accept the fact that I need to be slapped back into reality.

A drunken stupor is what characterizes my life right now.

I am enveloped in a blinding haze. I mull and mull a way out of the same, but to no avail.

I beg my inner being to come back to its senses…to smell the coffee, that is probably burnt by now!

But..alas!

My multiple personalities are busy in their own individual endeavours. I am afraid that by the time they pay heed to my cries of help, it will be too late.

And, I will be left alone to bleed. Left alone to walk over the shards of broken dreams..

  6. Great that you know that you need a slap. Most of us will not accept it, and continue to remain oblivious to reality.

    As they say, “knowing that you don’t know” is better than “not knowing that you don’t know”
